May we (and the
attendees) celebrate God all day, every day - truly revel in Him. We are
not to fret or worry. Instead of worrying, Jesus, help us to pray. May our
petitions and praises shape our worries into prayers, letting God know of our
concerns. Let a sense of God's wholeness, everything coming together for good,
come and settle us down. Work each of us into Your most excellent harmonies (Philippians 4:6-9, The Message).
Once
stateside, many missionaries often face decisions in regards to schooling
options, special testing, further education, medical concerns, possible
redeployment, kid's college choices, aging parents and their care, and needing
to raise extra support. Any one of these can give rise to worry, fear and
anxiety. Holy Spirit, empower them to practice and experience Your Word and
peace as we lift these concerns before You. In Jesus' name, Amen.
