perspective of women’s retreats:
The closer time
came for the retreat,
The more reluctant
I felt.

Distrust
Fear and doubt
hovered over my soul.

So many sweet
gifts
Time to process
Messages of hope
Pampering touch
Prayers from new
sisters
Messages touching
deep roots.
Glad I came
Thank you Father
For knowing my
frame
And
Keeping me from
backing out
of your blessed retreat.
